2 pounds of meat to shread.
1 cup of cooking wine.
3 tablespoons of Olive oil.
5 gralic cloves.
1 green pepper.
1 white onion
1 can of tomato paste
salt, pepper, cumin and oregano

Put the meat in a pressure coocker until it becomes soft and after shred it.
NOTE: I always, after I take the meat out take the broth and add Carrots, Potatoes, Onio and garlic and cook it until soft then I blend it and cook it some more until it becomes thick and create a deliciouss soup.
Aside I blend the garlic, onion and pepper with the cooking wine to create a sofrito.
On a skillet I Brown the shreded meat and add the sofrito together with the tomato paste and the spices (not too much)
I cover and let cook on medium to low fire for 30 minutes.
I serve it with white rice and sweet fried bananas. |
